When processing a batch of catalyst, ABC usually provides a door to door service including:
Customs clearance in the country of origin. If preliminary export authorisation is required, the refiner must however ask it
Freight organization from FOT at the refinery to the regeneration plant and back.
Support in setting up the required paperwork to ship the catalyst.
Unregenerated material is generally self-heating and as such belongs to class 4.2 of the IMDG code. Packaging must be either in drums or flow bins approved for packing group II or III.
